There are a lot of my friends that has been waiting for the proof of cashout from steemit. They think its not legit.Lol....
I'd love to show them this proofs of cashout to encourage them to join here...
So, last night, me and @sasha.shade went to the Bitcoin ATM in Makati, Burgos St. inside the Sunnet Tower to test if it works. And yes! It worked! You don't have to show your ID for verification, only your phone number. It's so cool. There is a finger print scanner but it doesn't work for now, i don't know why. We are very happy for the result. It's very legit! Most Filipino here in steemit doesn't know about this Bitcoin ATM in Makati this is why I shared this here in steemit. I hope this helped.
PS. You need to download "electrum" and "barcode scanner" apps on your mobile phone. You can figure it out easily. Sign up in electrum first.
Ate Cheers Burger(My favorite burger restaurant)
While waiting for the confirmations, we decided to eat to my favorite burger restaurant near the area where the bitcoin atm located, it's just walking distance. I haven't eat there for a month already that is why I pushed @sasha.shade to go there. We just chill while eating. It is a cool restaurant! There are loud pop music(like you are inside the disco nightclub but a little bit lower volume), there is billiards and nice tv for entertainment while eating.
We enjoyed the food! After we ate, we asked our favorite polite and hospitable waiter to take a photo with him so next time if filipino steemian come in that restaurant(which i highly recommend so) they just find this guy to assist them. A very nice waiter!
Then we went back to the bitcoin machine after the restaurant to get the money. We went home happy, thinking that "now im 100% sure this platform is legit and helpful"!
Anyone please free to ask me if you are still confuse how this atm works. And I recommend this restaurant for a delicious burger! ^_^

That's so awesome! Glad you have a bitcoin ATM near you. It's great that you can prove to people how easy it is to convert Steem to BTC, and then convert to cash. All it really takes is effort to create good content, and time to curate and promote others content :) Steem on!

There's an actual debit card you can get that you can withdraw from a regular ATM via bitcoin. I was about to buy it but then bitcoin proved its unreliability so I'm leaving it until things cool down a bit.

Very awesome! I was just in Makati at the beginning of the month. I wish I would have known the bitcoin ATM was there. I don't have any bitcoin ATM's around me in California, that I know of. Also, would have loved to eat at the Cheers restaurant! Loved that tv show.
