RE: WIN 500 SP - DISCUSSION: "Should Bitcoin Just Be a Currency or Store of Value?"

in #bitcoin8 years ago (edited)

Ssya likes bitcoin ,,,, By keeping Bitcoin primarily as a store of value and / or currency, we store it simply and in theory at least reduce bloat on the main blockchain.

It can also help reduce future arguments and divisions due to protocol changes, as there will be little incentive to add new features to try to compete with new projects.

So in a nutshell, I think keeping Bitcoin in focus and working best because the currency form is quite difficult so it should be the only focus. In some cases simplicity is the best.
I am listening ,,,, thanks for sharing ,,

I agree. It can be both a store of value and currency. But better to be just one. A store of value which even the central banks can accept. Let the other alt coins be the privacy centered payments platform

Also it would stabilize it price if it's not currency
