For mining:- It requires investment on your custom hardware to mine coins and it's not a reliable way , It costs you with electricity bills, efforts, maintaining the hardware and lot's of more complications , If you prefer cloud mining like Hashflare or genesis you won't be able to earn anywhere near 100% on your investment (probably you will get your investment back by throwing it over for a year).
- With custom harware (Graphic cards) there is a pool fee (maybe you can find 1%) and energy consumptions, or even hardware will destroy sooner.
- ASIC requires a lot more investment and still not worth it (if you don't have a farm of ASIC's ).
