Everyone has their "Top 10 List" regarding their favorite crypto currencies/tokens. In the past 9 months, we have seen an explosion of YOU Tubers turned expert crypto traders offering advice. Many went from daily game blogging and make up advice to now Wall Street gurus. So where is a good place to go for solid advice for this up coming 2018 year of crypto's?
My answer is simple. Look towards people who have been involved in crypto's and the blockchain for longer than 2 years. If anyone has been involved in the field for more than two years than they are definitely an innovator. These people can see the future and really understand the life changing technology that blockchain and crypto's represent. Getting your information from these individuals is a safe bet.
Another piece of advice that I can give is to look for crypto's that offer unique features. Invest in crypto's that offer platforms such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum. NEO, Qtum, Cardano etc. These coins are an infrastructure that the blockchain would run on. In other words, it is like owning a piece of a highway that people will need to use everyday to get to work. You would be collecting a toll on every daily user of that platform.
A second feature would be crypto's that offer banking or lending services to the token holder. Examples of such crypto's that provide banking like services are Populous, Pay Pie, SALT and others. These tokens are the future of banking and lending that will replace the old Fiat monetary banking system of today.
A third feature of crypto's are ones that service a niche industry very well. These are tokens that are first movers and have begun developing the ever important Network Effect. Some examples of this would be Propy the Global Real Estate token, Foodcoin for the independent farmers, Civic for citizen identification and asset ownership, Veritaseum professional digital asset trading platform (replacing Wall Street), Basic Attention and Adex tokens that will revolutionize the advertising industry.
I hope you are starting to get the picture. Take your advice from real Crypto experts who have been around for a ling time. Invest in crypto's that offer solid technologies that are needed and that will be around for decades. Then, be patient. I have noticed that too many people are desperate to make that kick money. They want that 10,000% return on that moon shot crypto. Well, that is very rare. Look for a 3 to 5 year investment strategy and stick to it. Stop trying to chase that 1 in a million long shot.
