I'm not sure I would agree with this list.. there are some risky choices.

IOTA is a really new coin, just out of ICO and has been slowly dropping ever since it hitting the market place and only recently went up. I do agree this is an excellent long term hold, but seeing as it's so super new it's also highly speculative.

Siacoin seems like a great choice but somehow the market is not so sure. It really shouldn't have come down from 500+ sats all the way to sub 300. I guess that means now is the right time to buy if you want it. But looking big picture, I do see SC growing a lot but I just don't see it ever reaching the same market caps as the biggest players. Siacoin will never be as big as Ethereum. That means the gains will be relatively low compared to some other choices.

Potcoin I know little about, and despite being a marjiuana enthusiast I have difficulties taking it seriously as an investment and it feels like it could very well have a 50% of complete failurea and not being adopted as well (like most other coins).

Ripple is another special case.. Yes it should go up by quite some over time. Then again it just had a meteoric rise, it seems to slowly stabilize but I can see it dropping further as well. I've been following this market closely the past months and I noticed it is different from other crypto markets. It does not benefit from the rise of Bitcoin since it is decoupled and traded in USD as well. Oftentimes you will see the other markets go 20% up or down in accordance to Bitcoin increases, but Ripple does not have as much movement either way. Long term success depends on wether or not banks will adopt the XRP token. As of yet, Ripple signed up a bunch of banks and they use their blockchain technology, but none of them actually use XRP tokens and there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in using them. XRPs success entirely depends on wether or not banks start switching to XRP.

Some low-cost suggestions I would make are LBRY credits (about 40-50 cents) and Basic Attention Tokens for 10-12 cents or so. Both are destined to go up by quite some. BAT is led by the guy who made Mozilla Firefox, too.
