Paxful is one of the most anonymous ways I have found to purchase bitcoin. You can purchase with basically any gift card, any debit/credit card, and much more. Purchasing is similar to LocalBitcoins as there are random sellers your purchasing from, because of this fees are rather high especially if you're using a gift card.
There are multiple great ways to buy bitcoin and it all comes down to what you value more, privacy or price. Its a shame that as bitcoin rises in popularity, the price for privacy rises with it as bitcoin was created as an anonymous payment.
