Thats the undervalued overlooked aspect of steemit, that social power of steempower! Its worth a lot more as more people USE steemit until everyone is on it like facebook is so ubiquitous that its actually useful for finding people and letting people connect with each other, even in real life, people ask for each others Facebook info instead of phone numbers! So anyway steemit will BECOME more useful AS more people use it globally! and therefor STEEM also become smroe useful! "Oh can i pay u in steem?" but we need marketing campaign to educate people on how steem is exchangeable for bitcoin then they will see steem as simply as useful as bitcoin! and as bitcoin becomes the one world global currency, it becomes more and more useful! Whole cities will use bitcoin and eventually whole countries like Japan will let you live day to day using bitcoin and its already like like with bitpay debit cards so that's not the problem anymore, but its all new, the methods of using bitpay debit cards is still new, peopel are just finding out aboiut it but the transation is gioing to be years maybe even a decade! so we all have so much time to keep savingmoney! you are going to become a billionaire very soon man, very soon!i cant wait because you becoing a billionaire is me becoing a millionaire steem at $2 is coming back very soon then $4 steem and everyone wkill become estatic and $5 steem and people wont know what to do with all their money and $10 steem and EVCERYONE will be hhappy for having gotten intio steemit!

When people were still buying and selling with gold hundreds of years ago, yes it had and still has a value but today you have banks printing millions and millions of dollars. None of those dollars are reaching us. And there is no limit to the printing itself.

Money does not have any other function than making it easier to exchange products and services with each other. It does not need to have an indusrial use inevitably.
