I think crypto is going to bring income to a lot of people around the world. The current state of industry is such that large institutions are making all the money while the little guys (us) are using their platforms and giving them all the money in exchange for our time, attention and dollars.
I see crypto opening up opportunities for users to run the network and rather than give money to some large corporation, we're going to get paid to use and run the network... Examples are Basic Attention Token, Substratum, Golem and beyond...

You're right, it's already opening up these opportunities. Banks and Governments are scrambling, trying to figure out how they can take complete control of this.
