Hey everyone,

It’s time for The Unofficial Weekly Stratis Retrospect #4.

If you missed my previous blog and want to read it, you can find it here.

Blockchain Expo North America 2017

Now a week after the Stratis team exhibited at the Blockchain Expo. in Silicon Valley, California, Stratis team members have shared their experiences.

Pieterjan Vanhoof, a main Stratis developer, said the most interesting part of the conference was seeing how many companies want to start using blockchain technology.

Stratis CEO, Chris Trew, and Stratis Head of Communications, Krushang Patel, stayed in California after the Expo for further meetings.

Chris was able to tell us Stratis received a huge amount of interest in its ICO Platform and other services about to become available on Stratis’ modular platform. Krushang complemented that with a nice touch, namely that a good deal of this interest is from companies that are well established.

Blockchain Expo London, UK 2018

On April 18–19, 2018, Stratis will be in attending the Blockchain Expo at Olympia Conference Center in London, UK.

The CEO of Stratis mentioned that he is very excited about the London event and that Stratis is a Platinum Sponsor for this event.

Early bird pricing for the London event ends on 15, December 2017, so get your tickets and/or register before then here.

Limited free passes to non-ticketed events appear to be available here.

Stratis will be actively exhibiting in London, as they were in Silicon Valley.

Marketing

Chris Trew mentioned we will see a big marketing push from the Stratis Platform in Q1 2018. He recently gave a small glimpse of what is to come, telling us that Stratis is about to be heavily investing in paid advertisements across the Google ecosystem, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to increase their brand awareness.

Looking forward to that!

Stratis Q4 Update

December still has a lot of good things in store for Stratis. These are the releases that are planned for this month:

  • 11 December, 2017: Breeze Wallet MainNet with Privacy Protocol (powered by Tumblebit)
  • 18 December, 2017: Full Node Alpha Release
  • Mid-december: Update on Stratis Sidechains
  • Stratis Identity iOS app
  • Stratis Academy Community section

Masternode Mainnet Beta Release

Stratis ended last week with a big bang. On 8 December, 2017, Stratis released their Masternode Mainnet Beta. Stratis previously released the Alpha version of their masternodes in October of this year. After a lot of testing, Stratis is now ready to move their cutting-edge technology onto the Stratis and Bitcoin mainnet. The full announcement of the December 8 release can be read here.

In this release, Stratis mentioned that the Breeze Wallet with Breeze Privacy Protocol Mainnet Beta will be available on Monday, December 11. Stratis has now delivered this release, however this blog is about last week, so I will tell you more about that next week :). I will tell you heavy testing has begun on mainnet, and we are now giant steps closer to a fully working commercial release from Stratis.
