I agree that its not easy for the average Joe to get on their feet. It took me several months of watching and reading (yes no one spoon feed me). Then when I was ready to invest I found out about exchange deposit/withdraw restrictions and had to wait (I didn't want to pay credit card fees). A lot of this has to change to capture the broader market money.
Anyway - your write up is a good intro primer. Well done.
