I think the main reason this small bitcoin run is Bitcoin ETF approval. Bitcoin has shown enormous growth due to this news and it killed altcoins at the same time. Now BTC is revolving around $8000 since 24 hours. If it sustains great trading volume, we shall see $8500 and $10000 in this month itself.
We should not ignore other side as well. If bitcoin does not trade with high volume there are still chances that it will come down till $6000 in parts. It is major support which is very difficult to break. But downside movement possibility is very less as there are lots of positive news in the market.
