Bitcoin is: misunderstood, the original crypto currency, a new commodity, a store of value, a threat to traditional and central bankers, a threat to traditional currency controls, not embraced by the mainstream, intriguing and still full of potential as it nears $10,000 (of course its over 10,000 US$ if the forks are included)
