Normally would be a bullish sign as would mean the network is packed but volumes being traded dont reflect that... strange!!!

Good point. I checked and made 2 exchanges on shapeshifter that are delayed as well.
seems there has been a small spike in price within last 6 hours but nothing that should delay network by huge lengths
