I'm sure you'll be getting lots of advice from the community, but here are a couple of my top tips:
Dtube is still a bit unreliable, but what you can do is to post to youtube, include the link your your Dtube upload description and then people can still upvote your post here on Steemit and play your video on Youtube even if it isn't playing on Dtube.
I wrote a post this week Community support- How to help a Steemian in need by upvoting their comments.
where I explain how you can help someone by going back and upvoting their old comments if they are in need. Since then someone has shared with me that : " Currently if a post/comment earns 0.001 to 0.019 SBD worth of rewards - this is rounded down to 0.00. If a post/comment earns at least 0.02 SBD - then they receive their reward.
-@timcliff " Knowing this now makes a huge difference to how I would vote going forward. If my vote is on 1 cents it's better to tag it onto something that has already been upvoted, rather than sending it out into the world on it's own.
See that post hereNext up is a system called @schoolofminnows by @lanmower that I had the pleasure of interviewing a couple of weeks ago. It is a great system for when you are offline for a while and you don't want your voting power to go to waste. They only ever use your vote when it is at 100% unlike when you join a voting bot that will take you down to dust votes.
