The price of Bitcoin is currently undergoing accentuated volatility, having crashed last week only to recover. Now, Bitcoin has crashed once more to a 10-day low, below the $2300 level. The pullback can be attributed to a correction following an unsustainable growth of Bitcoin and several altcoins. Since then, the price has recovered somewhat. Currently sitting at $2,435, Bitcoin has dropped 11.30% in the last 24h with over $541M exchanged in the BTC/USD market.
The price drop also affected several altcoins, including Ethereum who accompanied Bitcoin in the USD drop and is currently sitting at $336. Ether maintained the same value in the ETH/BTC market, roughly 0.14 BTC.
