Hello everyone, in this post I'm going to leave the following information which will serve us to know where we invested our criptomonedas and to be more secure before the frauds.

They steal $ 7 million in crypto-currencies in 3 minutes

The criminals 'hacked' a website to redirect all the public investment of a newly created Israeli company into a fraudulent account in etheres.

An Israeli platform dedicated to the development of block chains operating with ether, the second most sought-after cryptodivisa this year, prepared its own initial offering of coins (ICO) well in advance. But something in this project, called CoinDash, failed and all ended in a multiple theft of investment money.

The operation was scheduled for months for this July 17 and young entrepreneurs managed to raise about $ 6.4 million in etheres from their first donors. The money came to the purse of the group on the platform Ethereum, the official of said virtual currency, which appeared as a link on its official website.

For a few minutes there was a web link and suddenly altered, diverting all subsequent contributions to a different account and not controlled by the CoinDash team, reports Mashable. A later statement attributed the barter to "an unknown perpetrator."

According to the calculations offered, the attack and its consequences lasted only 3 minutes, but that time was enough for more than 7 million dollars to be stolen. "It is a disgrace for us to announce that we have suffered a piracy attack during our sale of coins," the company explained.

However, some online commentators, many of whom were scammers, immediately hinted that they would look for the 'perpetrator' within the Israeli team itself.

"Is there any evidence that it's a 'hack'?" Asked a Reddit user. "What if CoinDash puts in an address and then denounces the hackers to go free with the etheres?" "It probably was a trap from the beginning," another speculated.

The company did not evade all responsibility, but instead promised to send 'coins' to each donor according to their contribution. "The contributors who sent the ETHs to the fraudulent address of the Ethereum, which was maliciously placed on our website, and the official address of CoinDash, will receive their CDT coins in a relevant manner," the statement said.

Partly as a result of this fraud, but also because of a general trend in the crypto-currency market, the ether exchange rate is now below $ 200. It has reached this height weeks after reaching $ 425 per ether.

I hope they have served the info, as it is not my own the post is in (50% / 50%).
