The Chinese ban would not apply to mining
This statement was made by John Makariv his Twitter account, owner of the eponymous company McAfee. During lunch with a co-founder of Bitmain by Jihan Wu and bitcoin polarizer Roger Ver, Wu explained China's position on current events.
On one user on Twitter asked the burning question:"will China Ban mining?". McAfee said "no", indicating that Wu "is associated the strongest of all in this matter," and therefore should listen to what he says.
This contradicts rumours that the Chinese authorities do not intend to limit the ban on cryptocurrency exchanges and exchangers, and access to them.
