What was it again? A bubble? Ah yes, a TULIP bulb. Hm, that darn fogger #bitcoin lasted 10 years already you say? Mania of #tulip bulbs only lasted a few months, at the most. Seems #cryptos are here to stay.
#zappl
Every time I hear the word 'cryptobubble' I actually have to laugh. Just a way to distract us from the REAL bubbles; debt, real estate, loans, credit cards etc. etc.
Trying to follow the stockmarket (at my modest level to be honest) as well. Yesterday was not looking good there. It looks like the FED is kind of without new "tricks". I wonder IF/WHEN that is collapsing, investors will bring money into Crypto. I consider you more an "expert" than I am so what are your thoughts about that?
Not really that much into the stockmarket, although I seem to have a mortgage connected to it...
Maybe there is an overall downtrend in the complete financial realm. Things like creating 1.2 trillion digital USD extra is something that will drop the intrensic value of the Dollar.
Then the claim might come that a cheaper Dollar will be good for the American export market and thus create economical growth. But it will be bad for the purchase power of the average American if their income is not going to be raised to a higher percentage than the inflation rate.
That might be bad for the internal market, as consumption wont grow.
Same accounts for Europe, where at some point 1.2 trillion new digital €uro where created per year. Think it was turned down a bit, but with the same effect like in that in the USA.
My guess is that the stockmarkets are losing faith in the way the system works. Or what macro economic effects it will have. And when one starts to shout "SELL", even because somebody whispered "The market right now is Hell", and thought to hear Sell, panic will hit the floor.
Also because there is a lot of automatic high speed bottrading it can create an avalange effect. Few humans panic sells and it is on.
There is a fear of a new economical debt crisis humming it seems. That could well have triggered the stockmarket to take a hit.
When this fear becomes an avalanche of panic I think Cryptos will rise again as it could be considered a safe haven for investors. Or at least for a part they will move up to 20% of their capital into Cryptos.
The comming few weeks then would show another climb for Cryptos. Probably not as wild as before, but in one or two smaller jumps.
But I am convinced that this ongoing digital printing of bankers debt based money can not go on without causing severe damage to the world economy, over and over again.
But at least Cryptos will prove their use when the next bankers debt crisis hits the streets.
Thanks for your 'reflections' about this. At least it backs up a bit that my thoughts are at least similar and ... (unlike the digital moneyprinting) not coming out of thin air.
Let's take a good beer on this tonight. Cheers upfront. 🍺
I just heard a great line about bubbles...I think from Trace Mayer or Max Keiser, interview; "Bubbles don't pop twice". With Bitcoin, these so called bubbles that "Popped" keep filling back up. I though it was a great way of looking at it.

Yep, that is the whole clou. "Look overthere, not here, there is nothing to see here, but overthere, that is where you should look..."
Bubble bubble bubble bubble bubblebath, let's all chill in a crypto bubblebath.

Indeed, cryptos are a revolution and the people afraid of it call it a bubble with despair. But holding a couple of tulips seems great too :))
They say bubble so often you might almost get the impression they are under water and close to drowing.
Sure it is good to own some real TULIP assets on the Waves platform... It does not get more scarse than them. ;-)
That was a good one :)) I really hope nobody is drowning here :D
