Bitcoin and some other altcoins are inherently valuable through their scarcity: one cannot 'invent' a bitcoin (or litecoin, etc.) out of thin air. The Federal Reserve and European Central bank are able to 'print' billions of dollars and euro's from nothing. That's THE monetary issue that's fueling the demand for crypto, IMO
