Ever wanted a way to get price alerts for bitcoin or other cryptocurrency pairs? Well there is a solution for Android users! It's an app called Bitcoin Checker!
Bitcoin checker is an amazing mobile app that allows you to quickly check bitcoin prices or prices for many other currencies on all of your favorite exchanges. As you can see, it conveniently puts your selected currency pairs nicely into your drop down menu with a quick refresh button. They are also automatically refreshed as often as you select.
This is the main screen within the app that allows you to browse through your currency pairs. You can turn them on or off without deleting your data and alarms!
Selecting a new currency pair is easy, click the + and this screen will come up. You can click on the exchange button to choose your exchange.
We can click on either currency in our pair and select from the options available on that exchange.
Here we have selected coinbase. If you click the small i button, we can synchronize with the coinbase server.
Now that we're all synchronized we can take a look at the settings for alarms.
We have the option of setting the conditions our alarm will trigger, what values will cause these conditions to trigger, and how exactly we want to be notified. You can use sound, vibrate, blinking LED and even text-to-speech that will announce the price. It works great with little to no delay on the price action.
Here we can see the different alarm conditions. We can set a percent change in either direction, or both. We can set a specific value change. We can also set a specific price to trigger on.
