Former South Africa batsman Neil McKenzie has been appointed Bangladesh national cricket team’s batting consultant, said a BCB media release.
McKenzie, 42, will work with the Bangladesh team up to the end of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in England and Wales. He is expected to join the national team in Guyana on 24 July.
McKenzie played 58 Tests, 64 ODIs and two Twenty20s for South Africa. Following his retirement from international cricket in 2009, he has twice acted as South Africa’s batting consultant.
