The CME will have less of an impact since it's not buying the underlying asset (BTC) directly. Most futures contracts are settled in cash before they expire.
I do think something that would have a much larger effect on BTC is approval of a Bitcoin or cryptocurrency ETF as it would purchase BTC/other cryptocurrencies directly.
