Great point, ultimately it's going to take it cues from Bitcoin. Maybe in the future, the alt coins will be less dependent on the direction of Bitcoin.

Yup, same with US dollar. On the 1hr, DXY chart is losing strength right now, while crypto is starting to bounce.
