Bitcoin core/legacy hit $6500 today, or actually right now, as we speak. I have been talking about $6800 before Christmas, but at this point anything can happen really. $5000 or $10000 - before Christmas. That's right.
But if we look at the combined value of Bitcoin core/legacy (BTC) and it's forks and soon to be forked coins, the price actually just hit over $8000USD
let's look at the prices as of right now according to coinmarketcap.com

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) $495
Bitcoin Gold (BTG futures) $152
Segwit2x futures(B2X) $1165
Bitcoin Silver (BTCS) $0,02
Total price: $8330USD

Great news lately has come out as CME has decided to issue trading on Bitcoin Futures. CME, an American financial market company operating the world's largest options and futures exchange. It owns and operates large derivatives and futures exchanges in Chicago and New York and London. It also OWNS the Dow Jones stock and financial indexes.
And we are still speculating if China will allow Bitcoin exchanges again.
In other and insignificant news that Bitcoin doesn't give a shit about is that the banana republic of Vietnam bans Bitcoin. Too bad they are not interested in seeing their own people prosper in wealth and competition. What their retarded leaders don't understand is that that's the only consequence. Idiots.

The total value to me is the intangible value of my friends ignoring all of my tries to wake them up to this revolution. And, then, one by one, them coming crawling back to me for help kicking themselves. Still early enough and plenty of time to work your way into Bitcoin/crypto, but a lot of the value to me is the knowledge, confidence, freedom, independence, etc, etc, you know... So tack on a lot more intrinsic value for that.
I hinted to my brother that he should probably buy just a little bit of Bitcoin when it pulled back to 1500$ or something before this summer.
He was like.."uhh..seriously, I'm gonna pay down on the mortgage instead..you should sell that crap before you lose money"
I was like..naah..I'm hodling until at least 100,000$
He was like..omg, you are far out and unsaveable.

Another fork planned for Bitcoin in December?
Not that I know about, but Bitcoin Silver may start trading in December. It is still a future (so is segwit2x) I don't think Bitcoin Silver will have any impact. Sounds like a fork just created to make free money.
This is totally interesting, I will bid on bitcoin gold.
Bitcoin gold from my opinion have the potential to be the second coin in the future after a bitcoin.
I made analysis with some friends and its very likely for BTC to correct 4.4k-4.8k... And then probably 10-12k as you say, after christmas. Good luck and nice post :)

No Bitcoin doesnt care what Vietnam does. It really doesnt care what China does.
The fact about Bitcoin is there are millions of wallets out there and ton of developers working on the blockchain. Wall Street is now poking around and do not believe for a second they are going to miss this ride. In fact, they are the ones who are going to make it incredible. There will be a ton of money dumped into BTC over the next two years...
Countries can try to ban it...it wont matter.
