Because privacy and getting away from banks aren't the only things that matter.At the end of the day what make a currency is, its Speed and cost of transactions,because this is what it is made for Basically.

Ya but there is a update going on its called Lightning Network,I think they are doing some changes to Bitcoin Network to reduce the cost and increase the speed
