As a person who writes primarily as a freelancer for crypto projects, I often receive my payment in cryptocurrencies. While bitcoin is somewhat resilient against extreme volatility, ethereum and other coins can move as much as 5% in an hour or 20% in a day.
Most projects hiring freelancers are built on top of the Ethereum blockchain and naturally their payments are in ETH. AS some one whose job involves ETH payments, I get some serious anxiety when my pay comes in.
