In June 29,2018, They has declared the recent news comes out from the investigation that shows only about half(19 billion KRW)instead of 35 billion won undergoing a continuous recovery process.Bithumb also provide a list of the cryptocurrency which were stolen.As per the statement of Bithumb, total amount stolen was 18,945,911,857 KRW.
COMPENSATION PLAN:
Bithumb also reveals that they will organise a 'compensation air drop event" & all the customers,lost their coins must apply for the distribution.
They also stated that exchange is offering 10% annual interest rate from the time of application to the date they are fully compensated.
Though they are not still reveals that which type of cryptocurrency will be given away in form of airdrop.
