I was sold on EOS....... AT FIRST....... Then I read the white paper and terms of service. The Coins being issued and traded now are not EOS coins. They will be exchanged (READ THE WHITE PAPER) supposedly for the real thing once the real EOS coins are issued.
Funny thing in the terms of service, The creators do not promise ANYTHING. No coins, No access to the new EOS blockchain if created. I have read some one sided terms in my lifetime but anyone who reads about what the are buying today with EOS and decides to keep it could have some serious issues in the near future.
The US Gov is signaling that Ether and most of the coins riding its tech will be deemed contracts. Once this occurs the will be regulated with what they can do.
I think a lot of investors do not understand these things because they just don't read up or research what they are buying. If you are long on ANYTHING be it a stock, bond or crypto DO YOUR HOMEWORK! it will pay off.
