Not to play semantics with this but your blog title is taken out of context. It is sort of misleading in what I believe to be his intent. He said it is not a currency but an “asset”.
I do not think he is dismissing Bitcoin, he is saying he doesn’t know enough about it and it is no t a guaranteed investment.
