According to Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat, the course of the bitcoin could well increase during and after the Consensus conference organized by Coindesk on May 14.

Consensus is one of the largest conferences in the small world of the blockchain. Organized by the American media Coindesk, it will be held in New York from 14 to 16 may 2018 and will host more than 250 speakers.

The American company Fundstrat specializes in the analysis of prices of crypto-currencies. As reports Bloomberg, society thinks that the price of the currency will increase instantly at the conference.

Fundstrat researchers based their prediction on the course of the bitcoin behaviour during previous editions of Consensus. More there has been people at the conference, over the course of the bitcoin took value.

For example, last year, the number of people present had doubled compared to 2016 and the price of the bitcoin rose 69% during the conference.

Tom Lee, it is not only a transient increase but a true kick for bitcoin. He explains that July 2017, 60 days after Consensus, the course of the bitcoin was still bullish by 138% and expects to see a similar trend this year because the number of participants expected. (Between 4000 and 7000 people)

Lee concludes on the regulatory uncertainty that hangs in the USA concerning the classification of crypto-currencies. Currencies in the viewfinder of the regulators should not be considered securities according to him. He said:

'If that happened, a decline would be required but it is a highly unlikely scenario.'

last month, Vitalik Buterin called his followers to not go to the Consensus conference for 4 reasons. Will there be an impact on attendance at the conference? Will the course of the bitcoin also climb this year? Feel free to respond on our social networks.
