Bitcoin will be 10 years old. To celebrate his birthday, a group of artists will organize in France a crypto-art exhibition "Bitcoin Art (r) Evolution".
Participants at the exhibition are invited to study the impact of bitcoin and other crypto-currencies on the relationship between artists and their audience. Particular emphasis is placed on whether cryptocurrencies can free from the traditional art market and the banking system to achieve greater freedom of creativity.
"We had the idea to organize an exhibition in Paris to show the possible uses of cryptocurrency and to unite artists from around the world who are interested in cryptocurrency", - said the organizer the exhibition Pascal Boyart, French street artist, known by the nickname pBOY. He believes that Paris can become the capital of a new interaction between art and cryptocurrency, offering artists new ways to attract audiences.
"The emergence of cryptocurrency is not just a monetary revolution, it is also a cultural revolution," said Pascal Boyart.
Boyart himself will participate in the exhibition. We remind you that Boyart - it's the street artist who signs his murals with a QR code, thanks to which people can donate to support his work.
The public will be able to buy works directly with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Monero. Artists participating in the exhibition were also ordered to hide bitcoin on the canvas so that particularly attentive viewers could find it.
In addition to Boyart, Andy Bauch, Coin Artist, Nanu Berks, Saint Fall Yom, Issakihem Ilies, Josephine Bellini, Yosh, Mark Bern, Choq and You will participate in the exhibition. The exhibition is open and free and will be held from 28 September to 5 October.
