    While respecting all the excitement, it's worth noting that bitcoin, when viewed as a monetary system, is the most inefficient system that ever existed. Currently its operation cost stands at staggering $2 million per day, which is $11 per transaction and more than 95% of the transaction volume serves just one pointless purpose: to speculate on its own price.
