Gestern fand in Wien eine Kryptokonferenz der Digital Asset Association Austria (DAAA) und Bitpanda im weXelerate Startup-Zentrum zum Thema Regulierung und/oder Innovation statt.
Es gab eine Buchvorstellung von Christian Steiner (Bitpanda), der sein Buch "Kryptoassets und das Aufsichtsrecht" vorstellte, und danach eine hochkarätige Paneldiskussion mit Carina Wolf (Bitpanda), Philipp Harnsdorf (UBS Austria), Oliver Stauber (DAAA Vorstand) und Christa Drobesch (FMA). Geleitet wurde die Diskussion von Nikolaus Jilch (Agenda Austria).
Mir hat besonders gut der Titel der Veranstaltung gefallen, der den Inhalt und den Vibe des kryptoaffinen Publikums recht gut zusammenfasste: Kryptowährungen regulieren ohne Innovation zu behindern. Aber wie?
Ich sehe gerade für ein kleines Land wie Österreich eine große Chance mit einer sinnvollen und kryptofreundlichen Regulierung zu punkten und Innovation im Bereich FinTech und Blockchain zu ermöglichen und so einen Wettbewerbsvorteil gegenüber großen Ländern, die sich mit Disruption im Finanz-Bereich schwer tun, zu schaffen.

Yesterday a crypto conference of the Digital Asset Association Austria (DAAA) and Bitpanda took place in Vienna at the weXelerate Startup Center on the topic of regulation and/or innovation.
There was a book presentation by Christian Steiner (Bitpanda), who presented his book "Kryptoassets und das Aufsichtsrecht" (Cryptoassets and Supervision Law), followed by a high-profile panel discussion with Carina Wolf (Bitpanda), Philipp Harnsdorf (UBS Austria), Oliver Stauber (DAAA) and Christa Drobesch (FMA). The discussion was chaired by Nikolaus Jilch (Agenda Austria).
I particularly liked the title of the event, which summed up the content and the vibe of the crypto-inclined audience quite well: regulating cryptocurrencies without stifling innovation. But how?
Especially for a small country like Austria, I see a great opportunity to score points with a reasonable and crypto-friendly regulation and to enable innovation in the area of FinTech and Blockchain and thus to create a competitive advantage over large countries that struggle to disrupt and innovate the financial sector.

Ein sehr interessantes und wichtiges Thema. Ja gerade so Länder die Malta Liechtenstein sind ja jetzt schon am Punkten was blockchain und auch kryptowährungen angehen. Da haben sie schon einen immensen Vorsprung vor allen anderen meist größeren Ländern die schlafen. Liebe Grüße Michael !invest_vote
