BTC is just old tech that has given up on being P2P Electronic cash as per the whitepaper. Also BTC provides ZERO privacy. Nothing is cash unless it's private. Dash is doing an excellent job with trustless mixing and coins like PIVX use the ZeroCoin protocol which does require a trusted setup. Althoug I'm not too familiar with the tech ZEN and Verge have some great features too.
Above all these coins stay mostly pure and not manipulated. It's really the time to get out of BTC and leave it to the bankers. Let the privacy coins wins. Even Charlie Lee dumped his stash and I'm sure he bought something more private.
