I feel that ripple is going to still take time to flourish as the expansion rate is relatively slow compared to other cryptos. In addition to this there are lot of ICO's from different companies coming in the financial sector, which are directly competing.
Litecoin on other hand has a bright future which is solving issues present in bitcoin.
