From last eleven years bitcoin is number one #cryptocurrency by market capitalization and papularty according to CMC coinmarketcap.com but in reality bitcoin is not number one there are many other projects and cryptocurrency that performs better than bitcoin Because bitcoin is first cryptocurrency started many years ago and all other Altcoins created after bitcoin mostly invester and other peoples first get familiar with bitcoin that's why bitcoin is well known and famous cryptocurrency in the world
In reality bitcoin don't have any real use case mostly its used for short term training on cryptocurrency exchanges for making some profit after more then ten years there is not any other use case of bitcoin, #bitcoin is also not suitable for daily transactions because bitcoin transactions fee are very high and transaction spead is very slow as compared to other cryptocurrencies, bitcoin also can not be used as a store of value its so volatile and unstable its price can decrease more than 50 percent in few minutes or hours
Some people ma argue bitcoin is suitable for holding as a store of value because overall its price is going up its totally depends on what price a cryptocurrency investor purchases bitcoin many people purchase at all time high price due to hype and they are in lose dispute bitcoin price goes up, if there is less chance bitcoin price go down to $.10000 per coin there is also less chance bitcoin price goes up to $.64000 per coin, for example if someone new cryptocurrency investor purchase bitcoin at peak he may have to wait for months or years to reached break even point
I think as an investor we should rethink and check others bitcoin alternatives which have more real world use cases and stable then bitcoin also with low transactions fee or fast transaction spead there are many other projects in top hundreds Altcoins by market capitalization and daily trading volumes which are better than bitcoin in every sense some are below
