Bitcoin Gold (BTG): Price Breakout but Not Yet MACD

SUMMARY

Bitcoin Gold (BTG) had been putting in a complex correction that could be complete. Price has passed through the upper blue resistance line; however, without a surge in either volume or price. This is not so uncommon because the residual effects of the time/price extension can linger. Note also how the MACD has not broken out and how proximal it is to the apex. Is it a case of a not yet for the price and volume surge?

A closeup shows that a rounded price formation is in progress. The basin phase (yellow rectangle) is also about complete. Price has just recently started to rise back up. Once the right wall starts building in earnest, the volume and price surge should arrive.
