when should i buy bitcoin?

I come across this question often. "when or how should i buy bitcoin?"

and normally i tell people that dollar cost averaging is the best method, but most dont have the patience for that. But one thing i do tell people to try and mentally prepare them for whats to come, is i tell them "whenever you buy.... assume the price will dump right after you buy, because this asset is more volitile than anything you have owned and it most likely it will"

this past week is certainly a good example of why i tell people this.
