Off grid message via satellite

I find this pretty amazing. Talk about moving away from reliance on other people and systems to ensure that things work.

Off grid message to satellite back down to earth, received.

One reason I'm intrigued by this is that Nikos' project is all about communicating and bitcoin but using ways to "do it" that are more self-sovereign. I did a little project I called "ecash by sound" at https://crrdlx.vercel.app/ecashsound/index.html It used psk31 to send sound that was picked up and transferred a few bitcoin sats to someone. The instance wasn't over radio waves, but it could definitely be done.

Nikos is going way next level, using radio waves and satellites in space to do this. Very cool.
