I think it's a little premature to make these claims. Why don't you give it a few hours to see what happened? If the site was hacked, they have the right to take it down and recover. If it is a scam, then they're horrible, but it's too early to tell, right??

Agree steemmatt, and if he KNEW it is Ponzi scheme why the hell he entered this system. I really don´t like this attitude : 1)he makes a decisions based on his research 2)his research shows that this is Ponzi scheme 3) he still invest the money -4)he lose the money in the Ponzi scheme 5)he come whimper around the space that he has been robbed. Sorry but this is so funny to me. I have my money in bitconnect too and this behavior is childish.
Thanks. Nothing is confirmed, but we're sure to find out soon to make a fair and rational assessment. If it does implode, everyone knows what they were getting in to. That's why I only played with a reasonable amount of profit I didn't care at all if I lost. It was fun and good experience I'll carry with me either way. Orrrr, the site is fine and there was a glitch, huge customer selloff, hack, or crash, etc, and it'll be back to business as usual in a reasonable amount of time. I just went through Genesis' hack/recovery, and it's a good opportunity for a company to prove themselves during times of duress to grow stronger (or collapse). Time and patience will tell!
