From the previous article, you have learned about the solutions offered by Bitnation through Pangea Jurisdiction in solving the current problems that the citizens are facing in accessing governance services. How Pangea Jurisdiction uses its technologies to address the problems have also been discussed. Talking about the technologies, there is a prominent part that makes Pangea unique and reliable. It is the agent, Lucy.
The Use of Lucy AI
Reputation, ratings, or score, is an integral part on Pangea because it will determine the rewards for the community that includes Citizens, Nations, Arbitrators, and Governance Service Providers. To avoid bias in giving reputation, a pseudo-anonymous feedback mechanism is employed. This will ensure that every entity on Pangea can earn reputation score and every citizen will get follow each other’s’ list. AI is used to rate each component in the network. The reputation accumulated then is rewarded with PAT Tokens that are realized by DBVN. An autonomous agent, called Lucy is used as the PAT distribution mechanism.
The Team
Looking at the Whitepaper, it seems that Pangea Jurisdiction is a big project. There must be a great team with a strong experience and background. The founder of Bitnation is Susanne Tarkowski Tempelho. As the founder, she holds the position of the CEO of Bitnation. Before she found Bitnation, she worked in many frontiers in cultural, governance, and politics field as a contractor. Since 2011 she has been a crypto enthusiast. She bought her first bitcoin in 2012 and started learning about the emerging market of cryptocurrency. As the CEO, Susanne leads the rest of team members. In the operation team, there are Rachelle Traboulsi as the executive assistant, Sonja Prstec as the legal officer, Dr John Matthews as the chief financial officer, and many others. They have the major role in running the company management and operations.
Besides, there is also a team of communication. This team consists of four members. There are a community director, media director, community engagement officer, and social media facilitator. The main task of the team is build community through several media. Because the project involves a complex use of technology, there must be a skilful technology team. There are 15 members of the team consisting of architects, web developers, AI developers, Android developers, and many others. This team is led by Kent Dahlgren as the CTO.
All the teams are assisted with a board of advisors consisting of seven members.
The Roadmap
The Bitnation journey began in 2014 when it was found. Then in the following year, 2015, the first version of Pangea using Horizon Blockchain was iterated. In 2016, the second version of Pangea and the DBVN were launched. In 2017, the agenda focus on scaling the team and throwing the pre-ICO sale. Entering 2018, the latest version of Pangea built on Panthalassa was launched. This year, Bitnation will focus on go-to-market phase.
From the website as well as from the whitepaper, it sounds that the roadmap is not really detailed. It is up to you to judge whether the roadmap makes sense or not. The next article will mostly discuss about PAT token.
