In this Sprint, we continued to identify and squash bugs while making some progress on a new table layout for the next version. This release marks the end of chasing down bugs that have plagued the wallet for over a year. Now, we plan to move on to some low-hanging fruit like QR codes and other features that will make the wallet more usable. We have an active discussion around renaming the two types of accounts in order to add clarity. Thanks for your continued faith in the bishares-ui worker proposal.

For a summary of bugs and features, check out the Release Page.

For a detailed view of all closed issues in the Sprint, check out the closed Milestone.

Thanks for all your hard work that you and the team are doing Bill. Appreciate the update and if possible would be good to get them weekly :)

thanks for sharing and presenting

Thanks for the update and your work. In thinking about the wallet types, it's always good to view it from the point of view of trying to have "our parents" sign up :-) Over on discord as we help sign people up for OL/Bitshares accounts every day and we have to explain the difference over and over. So simple and clear language is best, something easy like:

[ icon ]
Online Wallet
Medium Security
Your account holdings are stored online for easy access from any computer or device.

[ icon ]
Desktop Wallet
Highest Security
Your account holdings are stored as an offline wallet on your local computer or device, but will only be accessible from that one device.

Crypto folks will always understand , and normal people have a clear separation.

Just thinking out loud :-)

Great comment and suggestions. I was thinking cloud wallet and local wallet. I think your suggestion is really good.

Happy to help, always good to bounce ideas around. :-)

Great! I liked it a lot! Especially aligning the naming with openledger. Much easier to recognize the asset I was looking for.

It is about time for overhaul as bitshares.org is not user-friendly as an exchange!

What's happening on Bitshares is actually real as more people specially in Asia have started investing greatly into the platform and its various use cases.

Good to hear!

More soothing to eyes, great design & awesome readability. Thanks for sharing and your hardwork that you have been putting in. BTS is the coin where I would like to stay invested in for long. Wish you luck mate @billbutler

sorry i am new , and need sometime just few more word to understand , and i sure this is the right place to ask . what is the differens between
https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/ bitshares
and
https://bitshares.openledger.info bitshares too but with obits

some words i need

BitShares is the decentralized platform, the DEX. OpenLedger is a company built on top of the platform. They run a gateway service that allows users to deposit and withdraw cryptocurrencies. When you deposit they send you an equal amount in their UIA, withdrawal exchanges the UIA for a payment on a different chain. Their UIAs are traded on the DEX. The trading pairs are accessible from any interface, not just OpenLedger's hosted wallet. OpenLedger tokens have counterparty trust, unlike bitAssets and BTS.

Obits are a token issued by OpenLedger. There is a monthly buyback & burn + dividend distribution to holders of obits.

thank you sir
