I have a strategic idea for BitShares

in #bitshares7 years ago

poloniexcoldstorage account has 230.001.204 BTS (https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/account/poloniexcoldstorage/overview)
poloniexwallet account has 115.418.078 BTS (https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/account/poloniexwallet/overview)

Poloniex exchange has a future for margin trading.
https://poloniex.com/marginTrading#btc_bts

Using this margin trading you can borrow BTS for an interest rate then you can short BTS
If BTS price drops then you are making profit.

Lets take a look at the interest rate of BTS
https://poloniex.com/lending#BTS

As you see in the picture you can borrow BTS with very low interest rate!

Now I will talk about the bad side of that lower interest rate for BTS Holders
If you give your BTS with low interest rate then traders will short BTS againist BTC and then
your BTS value will get smaller,so that if you are a smart investor you must not give your BTS for lending!
Because this will kill the value of your BTS !!!

So that I want to start a camping ;
Lets withdraw all your BTS from poloniex exchange :)
This will help the increase of rising bitshares!

*You can ask where I can keep my bitshares?
Of course you must keep all your bitshares in your decentralized bitshares wallet.

*How can I open a wallet?

You're missing a very important piece of the puzzle. Right now those shares a re dormant, giving our eastern shareholders a disproportionate amount of voting power. Withdrawing them, and proxying your votes to someone who understands that BTS is a decentralized company, and companies have to spend money to make money, can potentially help jump start some real growth.

Nice point! :)

Please feel free to set your voting proxy to 'neocrypto'. Uptime and a minimal number of missed blocks are my primary criteria when selecting witnesses. I am not anti-dilusionist. When it comes to worker proposals, I will always vote in favor of dilutionary worker proposals if I believe they will add more value to the network than existing shareholders would lose to dilution.

Nice little tip here. I prefer just to trade on the BTS DEX.

Lets kick that shorters!!!
