You can buy EOS on OpenLedger right now using Bitshares. The question is what happens on launch day in June this year when multiple blockchains start mining and compete to be the majority, does bitshares give access to all blockchains? It's a decentralized exchange, so nobody else has access to your keys, but hell if I can find the ETH address/private key generated in my wallet.
