This is a good tutorial, let me share my experience. It was repeatable, using the word ICE, as you mention in the tutorial the spaces and all Uppercase makes a difference. I thought I would give it a go using my steem name with the intent of using the resultant graphic as an avatar. This is where things behave strange and I am trying to sort out the size length of the text string, and the size of the fluid domain. Have you tried this with longer text strings, I would love to see a tutorial explaining the fluid domain, if I figure it out I will post on my blog. Can I re steem your blender tutorials on my blog?

Sure no problem you can resteem.
In the tutorial I rescale the domain box (S) by 20% by typing 1.2 after typing S on my keyboard.
I did this because I worked out a 3 letter word with spaces and caps should be 20% bigger, so I would work from that, a 6 letter word should be 40%.
However if you're not using caps then the ratio will change and you might have to do it by eye, and just use your mouse after pressing S.
The thing to make sure is that you are using 'orthographic' mode (press 5) and you are on front view when you add the box.
This will ensure that the whole box covers your text, you can check it does by using the top view (7).
I will do another tutorial on domains soon, thanks for your reply :-)

This tutorial has been challenging me since my last post. I apply the same steps, replacing the letters with 'S Y N E R G Y S T E E M' however, when I apply the fluid domain to the cube, the mesh goes wonky. I tried the object modifier remesh, this was a good discovery. Unfortunately, when I add the fluid domain to the cube it still loses its resemblance to the original text. I tried resizing the cube big, small, rectangular prism, no joy. Hmm - I have learned a lot through this challenge, but man I wish I could figure it out. I am thinking it may require a particle pattern? On the plus side, it is making me think :)
