You’ve been #blinddrawn @michellm3

Painting

I wanted to riff off of some elements and move some stuff around. I didn't realize until after that most things aren't in the right place. That's the benefit of being blind drawn, stuff gets moved around. Her ear may be a little higher than it normally is (hmm a lot), but it's okay because it's art and it's now some crazy mind's reflection of what she is. I don't know her, but I can tell from this beautiful shot that the elements of her pose were captured. At least I think they were. Steemians?

Original Photo

This is a great photo. It sort of reminds me back when I used to do photography using silver reduction developing. The silver in the prints makes brilliant contrast and vibrant grey. It's hard to explain without seeing it in person because grey doesn't usually come to mind as a color we talk about as vibrant. This photo has a little bit of that feeling, the classic photography feeling. I love her pose, the elegance of it is like an expensive vase.

Who am I?

I am an artist who finds portrait photographs of people on social media, paints them, and posts it. I love the reactions and surprises that it gives people. I think there's a sense of self-esteem boost when someone is painted (even when there are mistakes or it doesn't look identical to them). The goal of my art is to surprise and spread love.

Steemians, please let me know what you think of the post in the comments below.
