Every time time there is a black lives matter protest, all the media shows is the black people rioting. They don't show the peaceful protestors. So that upsets white people. Then a cop kills a black kid, and the media tries to make it seem like it was the cops fault. That upsets black people.
The media does this to get everyone to watch. After all they are using the Capitalist Free Market to make money.
And people fall for it. Instead of using their brain to figure out what I just said, they would rather pick sides and just hate each other.
Think you nailed it my friend. Keep the people (us) arguing over this stuff. While making plans to loot everyone in the mean time...Identity politics is the last gasp of any free society right before authoritarianism sets in. The financial system is a ponzi scheme. All of the tricks have already been used. Just distract the masses while we pull the plug.
I personally question whether or not it's purely ratings though. It also seems fair that it is the cop's fault often. To me it takes a certain type of person to be a cop, many people who become cops are into power trips... Which does little to keep the peace.
