2018 is gearing up and like I said the Blockchain is bringing us a lot of opportunities for everyone that is involved. 2018 is also the year of skills and anyone with the perequisite will shine next year

If you play your game right you can turn out to be another Amanda B.Johnson who played a vital role in the rise of Dash

The reason why there is this wide Human resource gap in the Blockchain is because the people who are qualified to take up this positions know little or nothing when it comes to the Blockchain

I am an avid online person and the level of ignorance that these 'gurus' have when it comes to the Blockchain is appalling.

If you play your cards right you can easily become a " Blockchain Expert" in you Nation or Locality

Nevertheless you still need a knowledge of vital skills like Marketing and Management, this is the reason I am putting this short list of these online educational websites that provide excellent courses to put you through

Lynda.Com

Lynda.com is an online trading, publishing and educational platform. It is the best online learning platform in my opinion and they offer 6,213 courses in Business, Technology and Creative Skills taught by industry experts.

Their educational videos are crisps and very understandable, I have never watched a video course I did not like as the tutors are well versed in content delivery

They offer a 30 day free trial after which you will have to subscribe to get more educational content. Lynda is a LinkedIn company which means that every course you complete earns you a badge on your LinkedIn Profile

Future Learn

Future Learn is another online learning platform. It also offers a wide range of amazing online courses which are free

However you will have to pay in order to get your certificate. Future Learn is owned by The Open University and it was launched in December 2012

They have a wide range of partners which includes Kings College London and University of Leeds

True. We need new skills to survive the ever changing 21st century world. What you know today quickly becomes obsolete the next day.

Thanks for reading @greenrun

Thank you too for those quality posts.

Also Udemy has a great number of courses on almost anything. I found a good course on blockchain technology and got a certificate.

Yeah I have been hearing of Udemy , though I have not checked it .

Thanks for the tip

@ogochukwu

You're welcome!

You should check udemy, they are simply the best.

I've definitely spent this year learning as much as I can. I prioritized my time to better benefit me. In return, I've earned and learned a lot in the cryptocurrency market. New ideas, new ways to help, and how to be more creative. It has definitely payed off and next year I'll only learn more.

Hello @axelarator

Schooling may end but education is non stop.

Thanks for reading.

@ogochukwu

No certificates from two of these but they are free if you are into self-passed learning.

Topics can be very complex and a lot of it is open ended

Here is another great one after making an account they have videos followed by lessons to do. Great for brushing on certain skills like math since they have a lot of problems to solve.
https://www.khanacademy.org/

For one that cost money where you can earn a certifications. https://www.edx.org/ Just keep in mind a lot of the schools patriating in this one intended for people to go off to their college to finish a degree in many cases so I’m not sure how valued a “certification” is. You however can choose to “free audit” a class. Your work just won’t be graded and no certification will be earned. Some of them are opened ended learn at your own pace while others are weekly commitments.

Thanks for the extra reccomendation @enjar

I have heard of Khan Academy and checked out their website once.

i am about 11 months on steemit with a 6 months period of inactivity cause of work. At the first 4 months+ where i just had steemit as hobby i thought i knew about 70% how steemit works and in general bitcoin, other cryptos etc etc.

After a aproximately 3 weeks i think that i came back and started being more active, i started reading about general crypto topics. I realized i don't even know 2-3%. It's definitely as you said, only a bunch of people have true knowledge about all this and this market needs way more for both their sake and cryptos future. I will surely look these sites!

Hello @filotasriza3

I have always told people that Steemit is a school as there are a lot of great minds here.

If only they will look beyond the money and tap into the immense wisdom available on this Platform.
