What Dominium is and How it Works
The blockchain which is the driving force for cryptocurrencies is now known to have many other functions. The real estate investment is one of the areas that need to be transformed using the blockchain. The use of the blockchain in the real estate investment economy will enable people to securely, speedily and efficiently share data and money. It will also cut out middle men and lowers the risk of fraud and theft. Dominium provides the platform where real estate investments are moved to the blockchain in order to solve some drawbacks or challenges that the real estate investment currently. These challenges include illiquidity and barrier to the entry into the real estate investment.
Dominium is a decentralized platform that allows for property listing, property financing and property management on the blockchain. Regulatory documentation for property funding is standardized on this international platform. The decentralization of Dominium platform is due to the fact that it is built on an Ardor child chain that allows for the placement of rental agreements, purchase agreement and property management on the blockchain.
In order to use this platform as an individual, you must register and pass know your customer and anti-money laundering law which has three levels of verification and clearance. Companies who wish to create a tokenized asset on the platform need to be verified by the platform administrator.
Initial Token Offering (ITO)
The Dominium (DOM) is a utility token that is used for the payment of all the activities that take place on the Dominium platform and they include creation of assets, trading of assets, creation of support tickets, voting for charities, listing property for sale and rent, registering a rental agreement and a purchase agreement. Dominium is undertaking initial token offering through the sale of DOM tokens in Pre-ITO and ITO stages. The fund generated from Pre-ITO will be used to purchase Max Property Group daughter companies and restructure them. The remaining pre –ITO fund will be invested in a leveraged property assets portfolio to generate funds which will be used to regulate and maintain the activities of the platform. A greater portion of funds raised through ITO will also be used to buy property portfolios in Netherland, Germany and United Kingdom.
In order to create a steady demand for DOM tokens, some of the income generated from property portfolios owned by Dominium B.V will be used to purchase back DOM tokens which will be collected in a multi-signatory of which the company supervisor will be a signatory. These tokens from the buyback program will be taken out of circulation and burned as required.
