Russian Airline, PJSC Siberia Airlines, To Use The Ethereum Blockchain To Sell Their Flight Tickets!

in #blockchain7 years ago (edited)

A Russian airline company has announced that it is going to use the Ethereum blockchain to sell flight tickets with support by the country's largest private owned bank!

According to a local newspaper, Kommersant, The Russian airline PJSC Siberia Airlines, also known as S7, and Alfa-Bank began the project of selling airline tickets on the blockchain this monday. According to the bank the best aspect of implementing Blockchain technology is faster payments.

In December last year it was reported that S7 had executed the first of its kind service payment using the Ethereum blockchain smart contracts through a letter of credit with Alfa-Bank.

This is yet again another company that implements the Blockchain technology to their business. Another big step for the "Crypto community" of becoming mainstream. This just shows that the 21st century's gold rush is getting closer by every single day, but remember that we are still at the beginning of the road, it's not too late to jump on the train.

Tell me your thoughts about this in the comments down below :D
